NIGERIA FILM/PHOTO PROJECT: On a recent working trip to Calabar, Nigeria, I decided to take full advantage of the amazing African light and take a series of portraits in the market place and jungle. I wanted to capture the locals in their working environment. My aim with this project was to produce a batch of photos and present them in their raw state (not edited in photoshop)

FEB 10 - BERLIN, LEICA DOCUMENTARY WITH THORSTEN OVERGAARD:  Thorsten Overgaard is an acclaimed photographer and feature writer based in Denmark. His work can often be seen in the International press and media including Life, Getty and the Associated press. Emma is producing a documentary on the famous photographer.

MARCH - NIGERIA, LAGOS, ENDANGERED MONKEY SHOOT: The Drill Monkey - One of Africa's most endangered mammals. The ranch in Calabar, known to locals simply as The Monkey Place. The centre rescues drills that are orphaned or that are being held in captivity. The idea is to raise the animals in natural-sized social groups for controlled captive breeding, acclimatise them to the rainforest. Emma will produce TV news features for Global clients.

JAN 10 - ASSOCIATED PRESS NEWS FEATURES: Emma has been commissioned to film news features for Horizons the international features wing of APTN.

DEC 09 - IHA/ BBC WORLD: IHA/BBC LIVE news shoot outside Harrow mosque in north-west London at the anti-Islamic protest.

 

DEC 09 - IHA/ BBC ARABIC:  Emma regularly films for IHA/BBC. Emma filmed a short feature with BBC Arabic at the Royal Academy of Music

NOV 09 - DEC 09 - JAMAICA TOURISM NEWS FILMS: Jamaica is a vibrant island great for filming! Emma is directing a film for global clients on one of the island's most violent communities Flankers in Montego Bay. This image is, however, being changed by the work of the Flankers Peace and Justice Centre, which has been able to bring down the incidents of crime and violence in the community. Emma's film will be entered into Sundance film Festival.

NOV 09 - THE WORLD TRAVEL MARKET LONDON: Staged annually in London, World Travel Market is a vibrant must attend four-day event for International travel professionals. Emma produced films with McCluskey international one of the most effective travel pr and tourism marketing agencies in the UK. OCT 09 - TOURISM IRELAND: In partnership with McCluskey international Emma directed films for Discover Ireland. The Films will be launched online in the New Year. http://www.irelandinspires.com/en/welcome.aspx

AUG 09 - USAIN BOLT INTERVIEW: Emma Travelled to Berlin to interview track superstar Usain Bolt for Jamaica Television channels and SNTV sports.

 

JULY 09 - SRI LANKA FOOTBALL DOCUMENTARY: Commissioned by the Asian Football confederation/FIFA, Emma partnered up with international news journalist Kate Parkinson and Mohsen Gilani's company to produce a documentary on the new Tsunami football centres in Sri Lanka. In December 2004 the Asian Tsunami devastated huge swathes of Sri Lanka's coastline. 40,000 people were killed. Over one million people were displaced. Almost five years later the children of Sri Lanka still bear the scars of the tsunami. They are afraid of the sea, afraid that the tidal wave could strike again. But on Saturdays their sad memories are forgotten. On Saturdays Sri Lanka's children think about only one thing... football.

 

FILMING JFK'S FORMER SPEECH WRITER IN SWEDEN: Emma traveled to Stockholm with photographer and feature writer Thorsten Overgaard to interview Ted Sorenson - Legendary speechwriter and adviser to president John F. Kennedy.  Ted spent the afternoon with Emma and Thorsten speaking  about why he support President Barack Obama.  The Documentary is now in production.

JAN 09 - HUMAN RIGHTS FILM FOR PRIME MINISTER GORDON BROWN: Emma will be producing a short film with young people from South East London who have been affected by street crime. The film will be shown to Prime Minister Gordon Brown and HRH Prince Charles. January 2009.

DEC 08 TOM CRUISE 'VALKYRIE' PREMIER LONDON: Emma will be attending the Valkyrie film premier in London.

FILM SHOOT WITH THE 'BLACK EYED PEAS' FOX NEWS: Emma will be filming Fergie from the Black eyed peas on Saturday 13th.      

TONY CURTIS INTERVIEW: Actor Tony Curtis, father of Jamie Lee Curtis will be making an appearance at Harrods in October.  Emma will be filming the event for FOX news.
